What types of courses are offered?
We offer a variety of courses on specific topics you need and are always expanding our library. We offer Firefighter 1&2, Hazmat, EVOC, ARFF, Cardiology, Airway, Trauma, leadership, strategy & tactics, and essential compliance courses, as well as other EMS courses to meet your state and national license renewal requirements.
How are courses structured?
We cater to different types of learners by offering courses that appeal to all learning styles. We offer microlearning and full-length courses that contain audio, videos, interactive elements, knowledge checks, articles, and more. Each course consists of instructionally sound learning objectives, instructional material, knowledge checks, and final exams.
How often is new content added?
We are regularly adding new content. You can expect new courses for fire, EMS, and compliance every quarter.
Can I save my progress in a course?
Yes! Our platform tracks your progress through the course as you learn. If you get a call or aren’t able to complete your course in one sitting, we’ll save your progress and you can pick up right where you left off. You can also bookmark pages for easy access.
How does automatic reporting work?
Once licenses are added to the license manager, course completions will automatically be reported daily to CAPCE.
Will I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes, at the end of every course there will be an option to download your certificate of completion.
Do the courses count towards continuing education credits?
Fire Engineering Training does offer continuing education credits for all full-length courses. As each state operates differently, we recommend you review our accreditations carefully and confirm your recertification, training, and compliance requirements with your relevant national or state authorities.
