He has a bachelor’s degree in fire science from Jersey City State College and a master's degree in administrative science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a NJ-certified fire instructor and has taught at FDIC International and throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom on a variety of fire-related topics.
