NICHOLAS MARTIN is a battalion chief with the Salisbury (NC) Fire Department and previously served as a battalion chief with the Columbia and a lieutenant with the District of Columbia Fire Departments. He has more than 23 years of firefighting experience. He has a B.S. degree in fire science from the University of Maryland and an M.S. degree in management from Johns Hopkins University.
