Rob Wronski

Robert Wronski served as the Bureau Chief of EMS and Trauma for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC). His career in fire and EMS began in 1991 as a volunteer firefighter and paramedic, eventually leading to his appointment as Chief of EMS at DHEC in 2014. Over the years, Rob has played a key role in launching numerous first responder programs and assisting with the establishment of several transport agencies. He has held leadership positions in three fire departments, including serving as Assistant Chief of the St. Andrews Fire Department in Charleston. Rob is certified as an instructor in various EMS and fire service disciplines. As an accomplished EMS researcher, he has received awards for his work presented at major EMS conferences and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, including two research papers.
