This Training Collection course, filmed with Mike Dragonetti of Dragon Rescue Management, covers the process of rescuing victims trapped in a stalled elevator, from the initial operations in the elevator machine room to locating and safely retrieving the victim. Different types of elevator doors and strategies for gaining access to the elevator through both keys and tools from your apparatus will also be covered. Elevator rescues are highly technical operations and require familiarity with both the anatomy of the elevator itself and safety procedures to keep both yourself and any trapped civilians safe.
