DANIEL DEGRYSE is a 28-year member of the Chicago (IL) Fire Department. He was the coordinator for the Chicago Firefighters? Union Local 2 employee assistance program. He is a member of the IAFF LEAP committee. He has a B.A. degree in psychology and is a certified substance abuse counselor and a certified EAP counselor. He created the peer support program for the Chicago Firefighters Union EAP.
