Dr. Tibor Nagy is an emergency medicine physician, EMS physician, and Medical Director for JEMS Training. He also serves as Medical Director with the University Hospitals EMS Institute in Cleveland, Ohio, and is an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve. He also practices clinically as an emergency physician within the University Hospitals system.
Dr. Nagy is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Prisma Health Upstate in Greenville, South Carolina, followed by an EMS fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
His EMS experience includes medical direction, prehospital education, mass-gathering and event medicine, disaster preparedness and response, and the development of evidence-based continuing education for EMS clinicians. His experience includes day-to-day EMS medical direction for local EMS agencies, supporting EMS operations at large-scale sporting events, conducting and contributing to prehospital and emergency medicine research, and advancing EMS education and system development nationally and internationally.
As Medical Director for JEMS Training, Dr. Nagy provides physician oversight of educational content and works alongside subject matter experts and the JEMS Training team to develop practical, evidence-based education for prehospital clinicians.
